This policy explains what Codenhagen LLC (which operates GroupGauntlet) collects, why, and your choices.

What we collect

• Account info: your name and email from Google, Apple, or Discord sign-in.
• Challenge data: challenge settings you create, and the participant names and workout logs that come from your connected group chat.
• Chat connection details: identifiers needed to reach your group (e.g. a GroupMe bot/group id or a Discord server id).
• Payment info: handled by Stripe. We do not store your card number; we receive limited details such as the billing country and payment status.
• Basic technical data: standard logs and a session cookie to keep you signed in.

How we use it

To run challenges, show leaderboards, process payment, provide support, and keep the Service secure. We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

Service providers that make the product work: our hosting provider, Stripe (payments), and the chat platforms you connect (Discord/GroupMe). We may disclose information if required by law.

Public leaderboards

A challenge's leaderboard is viewable by anyone with its link (an unguessable URL). It shows participant display names and workout stats — not emails or contact details.

Retention

We keep challenge data while your account is active. Email support@groupgauntlet.com to request deletion of your account and associated data.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect your data, but no method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.
