Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of GroupGauntlet (the "Service"), operated by Codenhagen LLC ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

GroupGauntlet lets an organizer run a group workout challenge inside a third-party chat platform (such as Discord or GroupMe). Members log workouts and the Service tracks progress, byes, and eliminations, and shows a public leaderboard.

2. Eligibility & availability

The Service is currently offered to customers in the United States only. You must be at least 18 to purchase, and 13 or older to participate.

3. Accounts

You sign in through a third-party provider (Google, Apple, or Discord). You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your login secure.

4. Payment

A challenge requires a one-time season fee, shown at checkout and processed by Stripe. You authorize us to charge your selected payment method. Fees are in U.S. dollars. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

5. Third-party platforms

The Service connects to platforms like Discord and GroupMe. Your use of those platforms is subject to their own terms, and we are not responsible for their availability or actions.

6. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the Service: no unlawful activity, no harassment or abusive content directed at participants, no attempts to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the Service, and no using it to send spam.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. It is a fitness accountability tool, not medical advice — consult a professional before starting any exercise program.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Codenhagen LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date. Continued use means you accept the updated Terms.
